Pardot Email Specialist

About the Position

We are seeking a card-carrying email geek!

In an effort to better serve our 400k+ global email contacts, BibleProject is looking for a contracted email specialist to play a direct role in helping us optimize our email efforts. This role is responsible for managing the email channel through execution and monitoring while also developing strategies and tactics for growing our email engagement. Our email open rates range from 25-40%+ on average. There is tremendous potential for impact here!

What You'll Do

Serving as point of contact and in-house SME for our email platform, Pardot
Assisting with backend account configuration, Salesforce connection configuration, campaign building, drip automation, lead scoring, A/B testing and database management
Working with our contracted email developer to create optimized email templates
Coding your way through email rendering issues as they arise
Guiding us in the best practices of nurturing lead campaigns thoughtfully while maintaining high deliverability

What We Are Looking For

High operational and technical expertise with Pardot, as this is the platform we use for all emails
Knowledge of best practices for lead campaigns
Strong people skills with a friendly and hospitable manner
A good listener, collaborator, and communicator
Empathetic problem solving and issue resolution skills

Nice to Have

3+ years working on building campaigns in Pardot
3+ years of SalesForce CRM experience (including email list pulls)
3+ years experience email campaign marketing experience
Base knowledge of HTML and email editing skills
Extensive knowledge of email list segmentation
Experience working with non-profit email funding initiatives

Details

Position: This is a contract remote position with a big opportunity to grow. Hours would start at about 15-20 hours a week.

Location: We are open to applicants across time zones within the US.

Beginning: Fall 2020

Reporting to: Sydney Bolinger, Director of Audience Engagement

Compensation: The position’s salary varies depending upon the chosen candidate’s experience.
