About the Position

As the Animation Studio Producer, you will be responsible for bringing BibleProject’s storytelling and content to life through animated videos. As a member of the BibleProject team, you will partner and work closely with the Director of Studio. The ideal candidate is a supreme organizer with a proactive eye that can see a problem coming before it gets there. They are a quick-thinking and flexible juggler and able to handle multiple responsibilities within a constantly changing environment. They possess a strong ability to lead a group of diverse personalities, defining clear constraints in a way that supports creatives to create their best work and keeps them motivated when schedules get tough. They have laser-sharp focus and unwavering attention to detail at all times. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who is a positive thinker and thrives on the thrill of a challenge!

Responsibilities

Create yearly, monthly, and weekly schedules for all animated video production.
Manage the daily workflow of writers, storyboarders, illustrators, and animators to ensure production stays within timeline, budget, and scope.
Manage outside studio/contractor budgets for all supplemental work needed to meet production goals.
Draw up contracts for all studio contractor work and approve invoices.
Manage the production workflow of in-house and out-of-house VR teams.
Forecast production needs and planning resources accordingly.
Remain relationally connected to the studio to mitigate miscommunication, remove obstacles, and to encourage and challenge growth.
Create yearly goals and budget for the Animation Studio.
Hold monthly Animation Studio SOAs to create deeper team connection, determine monthly team goals, and maintain a system of accountability for achieving goals.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of producing creative projects with 3+ of those years producing animation, with emphasis on 2D animation and a thorough understanding of a 2D production pipeline from development to post-production. 3D animation experience a bonus.
Outstanding people skills and ability to guide a creative team.
Ability to adapt to changes easily within a highly dynamic environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience with Production Tracking and Asset Management software (ie. Trello, Ftrack, Google Suite).
Supervisory and leadership experience, including demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team.
Technical proficiency and experience with software like Dropbox, Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Ftrack (a plus!), Adobe Suite (a plus!).
Understanding and appreciation of the Bible.

Compensation:

Salary varies depending upon experience
